FAQs

Questions, answered

How do I get started?
Create a free account, tell me a little about your dog, and book a 15-minute introductory call. If we're a good fit, I'll invite you to an in-person meet-and-greet.
Does a meet-and-greet guarantee I can book?
Not automatically. The meet-and-greet helps us both make sure I can care for your dog safely. After it, and once your documents are complete, I'll approve your account for care.
Where do you provide care?
Irvine, Laguna Beach, and nearby coastal Orange County communities. If you're close by, ask — I'll let you know honestly whether I can serve you well.
Are dogs kept on leash?
Yes. Standard walks are on leash unless we've agreed otherwise in writing. I check collars, harnesses, and clips before every walk and may use a backup safety lead.
Do you go to dog parks?
Not as part of standard service. I also avoid uncontrolled greetings with unfamiliar dogs, wildlife, children, or crowds.
What happens in hot weather or poor air quality?
Safety comes first. I may shorten, delay, or modify a walk for heat, hot pavement, smoke, lightning, heavy rain, or wind — and swap in a potty break plus indoor enrichment. I'll tell you when that happens.
My dog has a bite or reactivity history. Can you still help?
Please tell me everything — there's no judgment in disclosure. Honest information is how I keep your dog, me, and everyone around us safe. Some situations may need extra conditions, and I'll always be clear with you about what I can offer.
How do you handle keys and alarm codes?
I never ask you to type lockbox codes, alarm codes, or passwords into the website or a form. We'll agree on a secure way to share access, and you can revoke or rotate it when service ends.
Do you record walks?
Only if you choose to allow it. Outdoor safety recording, photo updates, and marketing use are separate choices you control. I don't record inside your home, and walks are not live-streamed.
Can you transport my dog?
Transportation is only provided when we've specifically agreed to it in writing. You can request it in the portal and I'll follow up.
What if there's a medical emergency?
Your Emergency Veterinary Care Authorization tells me exactly who to call, where to go, and what you've authorized. I'll contact you right away.
